This project is rooted in the idea where I discover how to close the gap between idea and action quicker. It started with a desire to learn to skateboard, which had always been there. But, it had become a desire i couldn’t ignore anymore so I acted on my impulse and reached out to a local board shaper in Vietnam, Anyname Boards. The next day, I was already in their shop, choosing the shape, size and design.

I wanted to preserve the raw look of the wood, and let its natural shapes guide the lines of flow I painted over it.

Three days after that first impulse, I was already practicing on the board I painted.
