DAISY MORII is a photographer, writer, and painter based between Oregon and Vietnam. She started kitesurfing, and shooting it, in 2023, and has since worked with kite schools, surf and swimwear brands. Her photography and paintings move between the same world: ocean, movement, the everyday textures of a Selfled Life.

Painting began informally in 2021, on any functional surface she could find. At first, thrifted canvases, now moving toward boards, journals, and other unconventional surfaces. She's drawn to work that helps people move: physically, mentally, or from the inside out. In 2026, she made the choice to pursue what she'd wanted since childhood: becoming a full time artist. That same year she sold her first collection of hand painted journals at a market in Vietnam, paired with a
digital guide.

Alongside her creative practice, Daisy creates spaces for people navigating their own shift from survival to sovereignty. Her work draws on nervous system and somatic practices, curiosity, creativity, and years of building a life outside the conventional path. At the center is a simple question: What happens when you stop outsourcing your sense of self and start paying attention to what actually belongs to you?

Daisy follows what gives her joy, and creates work that invites others to do the same.
